Shatterproof Frameless Gym Mirror

We mounted two of the 36x60 panels side by side behind our squat rack and the square corners line up cleanly. Leveling the bottom J-bar across the studs made horizontal splicing straightforward, and the frameless edges sit flush with almost no visual gap.

The 5mm tempered glass gives a crisp, true reflection even when I step ten feet back for lunges and kettlebell swings. There is none of the wavy funhouse effect we had with cheaper acrylic sheets.

The bottom J-bar feels solid once anchored into the wall, and the EVA buffer strip inside the channel cushions the glass edge so it never scrapes against bare metal. Definitely a two-person lift for the 42x84 size, but the mounting hardware held firm.

I ordered two sets of the 36x60 two-packs to create a 12-foot horizontal mirror wall in my basement dance and pilates room. Because the corners are square rather than rounded, all four panels butt together neatly into one continuous viewing area.

Having a full-height 36x72 panel right in front of the deadlift platform makes it much easier to check hip hinge and shoulder alignment. The glass is quite heavy, so take extra time marking your laser level line before drilling the J-bar holes.
